About Our Farm
Local Market Farm
Roaming Raven Farm is a local family-run Farm that has been producing delicious fresh products Since the 1940's. The farm started by selling tulip and daffodil bulbs, as well as fresh dairy products. The farm moved to Potatoes and other vegetables and in the 1980's and to berries in the 1990's which we continue to sell along with a large variety of fruits, vegetables, and microgreens.
With the farm passing on to the third generation Ranns it was decided that we needed have an official name for farm. In December of 2021 we had an unexpected loss of our family dog due to a bear attack. This was a devastating loss to our family, but when our daughter Jenna recommended Roaming Raven Farm we knew we had the perfect name. She is the inspiration for our name and logo and will live on through Roaming Raven Farm.
Our Mission
Our mission at Roaming Raven Farm is twofold. First, we strive to provide a farm for the local residents of Victoria where they can purchase high quality fruits, produce, and other specialty items free of sprays and GMO seeds. Secondly, we make it a rule to only partake in responsible farming in order to protect the environment and sustainability of our region. We believe in the historical significance of our seeds and offer a wide variety of heirloom products showcasing the background they came from and how to sustain that history into the future.
